About Us

We have been welcoming campers to Gear Farm for nearly 30 years!  With huge pitches and plenty of space to enjoy, the site is the ideal location to explore West Cornwall.  Overlooking the Helford River valley, you can enjoy spectacular sunsets while you sip a cold beer.  Our vibe is very much ‘unplugged’ so you can switch off from the stresses of everyday life, feel the Earth beneath your feet and spend time with each other. If it is relaxed and spacious family camping you are after – we think you will fit right in!

Gear Farm is within easy reach of many sandy beaches and is often used as a Kayak friendly base, Kayak and SUP hire is available locally from Coverack. Many of our campers come to enjoy the Cornish Coast path, or use us as base to explore the Lizard Peninsula.

We welcome caravans, campervans, tents or whatever else you might want to camp in – our camping pitches are really big, so you can be spread out a little without hearing your neighbours!
